Our Anglican History and Tradition

The Episcopal Church emerged from the Church of England in the British colonies in America, and we remain in communion with the Church of England. As Episcopalians and Anglicans, our particular Christian heritage and ecclesial genealogy must be traced back to the arrival of Christianity in the British Isles.
